Bilal co-founded Clearstep during medical school when his friends and family began asking what they should do for their symptoms. Even with an abundance of information online, checking symptoms usually led to a frustrating and confusing experience. Yet, physicians often ask algorithmic questions to assess patients. Bilal wondered why those algorithms couldn’t be brought to everyday people. He set out on a mission so his loved ones could know exactly what to do for their health. His work landed him on the Crain’s Chicago 20 Businessmen in Their 20’s list for 2020.
